Rather than a solid slab, the top is an oval walnut frame with a central void, the opening revealing the floor below and dramatically reducing the table's visual weight in the room.

Fluted Walnut Frame Edge

The outer face of the oval frame is routed with vertical flutes, the shadow lines adding classical detail and depth to a profile that would otherwise read as a plain timber ring.

About this piece

A quiet centrepiece.

Halden is the workhorse of the Modern Modular collection — a wide-armed, deep-seated sectional that anchors an open-plan living room without dominating it. The chaise return is sized for full-length lounging at 110 cm, so it actually works as a daybed rather than just hinting at one.

Each module is independently framed in kiln-dried hardwood with corner-block reinforcement, then wrapped in high-density foam and a feather-channel topper. Modules connect with metal latches; if your floor plan changes, the layout changes with it.
